Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19
What an awesome Summer we have had! We took a trip to the lake where we swam until we passed out (some of us literally). Then we placed a 100ft+ slip n slide in Calvin Farmer Park and slide down it for about 2 hours one Thursday night. In the middle of June We took a trip to Stone Mountain for the AtlantaFest experience. At the end of June we competing in Summer Olympics during VBS. Then in july we joined with Cantonf FUMC and Liberty Hill UMC to make a difference in our community with the Nehemiah Project. To end it all we spent a week at Holbrook Campground worshipping God, having fun, and learning about God's One Purpose for our life. Now things have settled back down and school will start soon. Looking back, I believe this will be a Summer that we will all remember for a long time.
July has a crazy schedule. We have already been through VBS and all of its schedul changes. Coming up this week is the Nehemiah Project. It is Wednesday, July 7 through Saturday, July 10, so there will be no Wednesday night youth nor will there be RIOT on Thursday night. Then, the following week Graham and Julie host a 6 day long youth camp at Holbrook Campground. It is Sunday night, July 11 through Friday morning, July 16. Each day there will be a youth service at 2:30pm. Please come for all of or part of the week. This will replace both Wednesday night youth and RIOT. On Thursday night there will be a big youth service that will serve as a good substitute for RIOT. Don't miss out on these events!

Ball Ground Youth Summer Olympics concluded this past Thursday night with the announcement of the medal winners. Green Team took gold with 535 points followed by silver medalist Red Team with 525 points and winning bronze was Blue Team with 505 points. It was a fantastic week with great competition.
